Introduction
The Kalexma Language
Institute (KLI), is a Spanish Language School located in San José, Costa Rica. All KLI
courses are serious, effective and interactive. From years of experience KLI has noticed
that the most difficult step for students is communication. That's why KLI focus is on the
oral expression of each and every student through defined exercises, which makes the
student lose, step by step, the fear of speaking the language.

Credit Hours
A student applying
for academic credit will receive, at the end of the course, a transcript indicating the
number of hours of classes attended, grades, and the teacher's evaluation.
It is preferable for
the student to make arrangements directly with their University prior to starting their
study-trip, in order that the University recognize the Spanish Immersion Program the
student will be participating in.
In order to receive six
credits you will need to complete five weeks of class:
1 credit = 16 hours
- 1 to 4 weeks: 5 days a week
- 4 hours a day of regular classes = total 80 hours = 5 credits
You will be given a
written and oral exam on the final day of classes
Daily attendance to
all regular class hours is mandatory.
Successful students will
receive a certificate of completion, and a transcript of grades.
Minimum passing grade is 70.
