5.HighLights Tour

Description: The country's most beautiful natural attractions, visited in an 11 hour one day trip.
Breakfast at the luxurious Hotel Buena Vista. A visit to the Poás Volcano to see its crater. Continue towards La Paz waterfall, stopping for coffee at a hummingbird gallery. We will then head to the Caribbean Plain, seeing banana plantations, pineapple fields and Brahma bull ranches. We will have lunch at Selva Verde Lodge and enjoy a pleasant walk along the rainforest trails. We will then take a boat ride down the Sarapiquí River on the lookout for iguanas, monkeys, crocodiles, sloths and birds. We will return to San José through the Braulio Carrillo National Park, a protected area of almost 500 sq. kms.
