Description: This tour will show you the spectacular view of Cartago city while ascending to the Irazu volcano and visiting its crater, which you will be able to see. Afterwards, you will visit the ruins of Cartago and "La Basílica de Los Angeles", Costa Rica's most famous church. Leaving the city, you will stop at the Lankester Gardens, which hosts more than 800 varieties of orchids and other tropical flowers. Orosi Valley is a rich farming area which will show you coffee plantations, an evergreen forest, a dam, colonial churches and the famous "Dreamer's House".
